According to the medical records in the Danish National Birth Cohort, researchers in 1955 interviewed thousands of mothers after their children were eighteen months old. They found 24,231 mothers who drunken alcohol while they were pregnant and had their babies affected with eczema. It was revealed that women who had four or more drinks a single week during pregnancy were faced with a four times bigger possibility of eczema in their babies. However, only those parents who had a high risk of allergy in themselves had their babies at this increased risk.
