Eczema Causes !

Although, the exact cause of eczema is not known, its symptoms seem like the results of:

Environment:

Climate as the causes of eczema is not proven. However, it is witnessed that the eczema normally improves in humid regions, hills over 1500 meters high, and seashore regions. Eczema is seen to get worse in autumn season due to central heating system used to reduce humidity from the indoors in autumn.

Foods:

There are certain kinds of food that can set off eczema. Following food stabilizers are no exception to that.

Colors:

  • Tartrazine E102
  • Erythrosine E123
  • Amaranth E12

Antioxidants:

  • Butyl Hydroxyanisole E320
  • Butyl Hydroxytoluene E321

Preservatives:

  • Parabens E214 to E218
  • Sodium Benzoate E211
  • Sorbic Acid E200

Psychosomatic Factors:

Depression, stress, anxiety along with other mental and emotional factors can cause eczema or make it too worse.

Industrial or Chemical Irritants:

Chemicals such as chlorine in swimming pools, biological washing powders, and detergents can cause eczema.

Irritants in the home or environment:

You can get eczema if in your home or environment following are present:

  1. Low humidity
  2. Dust mites
  3. Overheating due to central heating and woolen or synthetic clothing
  4. Certain plants
  5. The fur of horses, cats, and dogs

Eczema and Family History:

Studies show that a person with either mother or father or both suffering from eczema is 80% more likely to suffer it. About 50 to 60 percent of eczema victims had someone in their close family relatives with the skin inflammation.
